It seems like just yesterday that Pitchfork was dipping its gnarly, taste-making toes into the festival waters, but 2015 will be the tenth year for the annual music festival. The lineup for the fest, which will take place July 17-19 at Chicago’s Union Park, is pretty absurdly stacked. Sleater Kinney, hot off their tremendous new LP No Cities to Love, has historically hated festivals, and even said as much in their recent talk with Broad City, is one of the headliners, along with Wilco and Chance The Rapper. Throw in Run the Jewels, Shamir, Mac DeMarco, Perfume Genius, Natalie Prass, Panda Bear, Waxahatchee, and on and on and on, and you have, more than in past years, one of the strongest collection of indie artists any festival has seen.
